Who is it suitable for? Microdermabrasion can help many people with skin problems. Some people who would benefit most from the treatments include people with oily skin and skin damaged by the sun. People with acne scars, fine wrinkles and aging skin are suitable and often benefit the most from treatments.
What results can you expect? After each session, the skin develops a rosy glow. There is some redness to a mild degree, which resolves quickly. After the first session, there is a freshness to the skin, it feels thicker and pigmentation may be more even.

v No exposure to sun or sun beds during treatment course
v Maintenance of one treatment monthly or a booster course every quarter
Why are multiple treatment necessary? Most people need a course of 6 treatments for the best results. These are usually a minimum of two weeks apart. Best results are weekly. Some people have monthly treatments as an ongoing part of their skin health regime.
What do I need to do following treatments? v Daily sunscreen of SPF 30 every day following your appointments
v No exposure to sun or sun beds during treatment course
v Avoid hot water on or near the skin for at least 12 hours after the treatment
v Avoid make-up for at least 12 hours – unless mineral based (Dermalogica treatment foundation)
v Avoid cleansing, toning, and moisturizing for 12 hours after
v Wait for 4 days before exfoliating
v Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the area as this may cause scaring
